THE ESSENCE OF PUNT
I developed the branding, packaging and website for The Essence of Punt, an independent brand creating handmade candles, body butter, and hair oil inspired by the rich culture and natural beauty of Somalia.
The identity draws on the heritage of the region, with the logo incorporating the outline of Somalia alongside typography influenced by Arabic script—reflecting one of the country’s primary languages and adding depth and authenticity to the brand.
The packaging combines African-inspired patterns with illustrated landscapes and soft watercolour textures, creating a warm, earthy aesthetic that reflects the sensory and natural qualities of the products.
The visual system was designed to be both cohesive and adaptable across the product range, using a consistent illustration style paired with colour variations to distinguish each fragrance while maintaining a strong and recognisable brand identity.
Alongside the physical products, I designed and built a fully responsive website to showcase the range, communicate the brand story, and provide a seamless customer experience.
